About

Built for the businesses that keep towns running

Townline Web is a small, independent operation — not an agency, not a platform. Just a straightforward way for good local businesses to have a website that actually reflects the work they do.

The Idea

Great business, forgettable website

A lot of the best local businesses — the ones with real reputations and years of word-of-mouth behind them — have a website that hasn't been touched since it was first put up, or never got one at all. That's not a reflection of the work. It's just that building and maintaining a website was never the job. Townline exists to close that gap, without turning it into a new job either.

How We Work

A few things we hold to

We build first

We'd rather show you a finished website than ask you to picture one. If we reach out, it's because it already exists.

We keep it simple

One flat fee, a defined amount of monthly support, and no fine print designed to confuse. If something's not included, we say so upfront.

We stay local

We work with a limited number of businesses at a time, on purpose, so the people we do work with actually get our attention.

The Name

Why "Townline"

A town line is the sign at the edge of a community — the marker that tells you where one town ends and another begins. It's small, plain, and it's been doing its job for a long time without needing to be flashy about it. That's the standard we're building to.
